Nile Wilson undergoes neck surgery

Great Britain’s Nile Wilson announced today that he has undergone surgery to repair damage to a disc, which was impinging his C7 nerve and causing him constant pain. As the recovery period is around six months, this means that Nile will miss this year’s British and European Championships and possibly also the World Championships in Stuttgart. His long-term goal remains the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. We wish him all the best!
