Sanne Wevers to miss European Championships

Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands announced this morning that she will not compete at the upcoming European championships in Szczecin. The European beam champion has been suffering from pain on the right side of her body, as well as a loss of strength and coordination, and a medical cause for the issues has not yet been found. Wevers is working with a medical team and hopes to make a comeback for Worlds in Stuttgart in October.
