In an interview with the Guardian which was published this morning, Ellie Downie has confirmed that she is planning to compete on all four apparatus in order to attempt to qualify for the all-around final. However, she has confirmed that her foot is still very sensitive and that she may only compete on some apparatus if it becomes problematic. Georgia-Mae Fenton and Kelly Simm will also be competing all-around, with Ellie’s sister Becky competing only on bars, where she is expected to attempt her 6.6 difficulty, and Alice Kinsella competing on vault, beam and floor.
